The Malkin Athletic Center is located on 39 Holyoke St., at the south-west corner of Holyoke and Winthrop streets, two blocks south of the Harvard Square T station.

From the T:
Turn left at the exit and walk down JFK.
Cross Mt. Auburn Street and turn left on Winthrop Street.
Cross Dunster Street, and turn right on Holyoke.
The MAC will be on your right.

From Memorial Drive or Storrow Drive:
Turn right (heading North) and cross the JFK Bridge
Go straight through the traffic lights at Eliot St. (there is a parking garage on Eliot if you turn left at this light), and past Winthrop Street.
Turn right at Mt. Auburn and cross Dunster
Cross blinking yellow light, and turn right onto Holyoke.
The MAC will be on your right.

If driving west on Mass Ave (from Central Square):
Immediately after Au Bon Pain and immediately before the road curves right, turn left on Dunster.
Turn left again on Mt. Auburn (a one-way street), past the blinking yellow lights and right immediately onto Holyoke.
The MAC will be on your right.

If driving southeast on Mass Ave (from Porter Square):
Stay in the middle lanes as you pass Cambridge Common
Switch to the left lane. Pass the Coop on the right, the T and Out-of-Town News on the left.
The road bends right into Brattle St.: bear left onto Mt. Auburn.
Cross the traffic light on JFK Ave.
Pass Dunster Street
Cross the blinking yellow light, turn right onto Holyoke.
The MAC will be on your right.

From I-93:
Take Exit 26 (Storrow Drive/North Station)
Keep left at end of ramp and take underpass to Storrow Drive (left lane exits to Longfellow Bridge)
Continue on Storrow Drive approximately 4 miles to exit to Cambridge/Allston.
Turn right at end of ramp onto John F. Kennedy Ave.
Go straight through the traffic lights at Eliot St. (there is a parking garage on Eliot if you turn left at this light), and past Winthrop Street.
Turn right at Mt. Auburn and cross Dunster
Cross blinking yellow light, and turn right onto Holyoke.
The MAC will be on your right.

From I-95/Rte.128:
Take the exit for Route 2 East to Arlington and Boston.
Travel approximately 6.5 miles, approach rotary from left lane.
Bear left, following signs for 3 North and 16 East to Medford.
At first light, turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue.
Stay in the middle lanes as you pass Cambridge Common.
Switch to the left lane. Pass the Coop Bookstore on the right & the T and Out-of-Town News on the left.
The road bends right into Brattle St.: bear left onto Mt. Auburn.
Cross the traffic light on JFK Ave.
Pass Dunster Street
Cross the blinking yellow light, turn right onto Holyoke.
The MAC will be on your right.

From the MassPike (I-90 East):
Take Exit 18 (Cambridge/Allston) (left-side exit)
Bear right on ramp after toll booth
Turn left after lights (before the bridge) onto Storrow Drive.
Take Cambridge/Allston exit (1/2 mile ahead) and turn right at end of ramp onto John F. Kennedy Ave.
Go straight through the traffic lights at Eliot St. (there is a parking garage on Eliot if you turn left at this light), and past Winthrop Street.
Turn right at Mt. Auburn and cross Dunster
Cross blinking yellow light, and turn right onto Holyoke.
The MAC will be on your right.

Parking

There is no parking at the MAC. There are metered spots on Dunster Street, and a parking garage on Eliot St. (across JFK Street). Do not park in the Harvard University spots as you will be ticketed and towed.
